Safety, Health, and Environment Specialist Job ID: 3191 Location: Pagbilao Company: Therma Luzon, Inc. Department: Safety, Health, and Environment Business Partner - Work Arrangement: On-Site We are seeking a dedicated professional to promote a safe and healthy work environment. The role will develop, implement, and evaluate health and safety programs that prevent or minimize workplace risks and hazards. The candidate will support the OSH Supervisor in ensuring full compliance with company policies and government-mandated regulations, conduct regular inspections and risk assessments, facilitate employee training and awareness campaigns, assist in incident investigations, and actively participate in fostering a culture of safety aligned with operational goals. Role Summary This position assists the Safety Supervisor in implementing health and safety programs, processes and procedures in accordance with company standards and government regulations. Responsibilities Assist in implementing safety activities in the plant, including safety competitions, safety awareness through advertisements, and safety themes. Conduct regular site inspections with Safety Technicians and consolidate inspection results on safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, emergency lights, fire hydrant systems, and smoke detectors. Investigate incidents based on notifications from other departments and prepare incident reports for submission to Managers. Coordinate with DOLE Safety Standards Bureaus, Bureau of Fire Protection, PNP, and other government agencies to comply with safety legal requirements. Issue work permits approved by the Safety Supervisor to contractors before the start of any project work. Maintain housekeeping policies within the workstation to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of plant equipment and premises during assigned shifts. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or related fields. Formal safety training from a DOLE-accredited training organization. At least 2 years of experience in a power plant or heavy industry. Willingness to be assigned to Pagbilao, Quezon Province. #J-18808-Ljbffr
