Job Description

The Site Engineer oversees day-to-day activities at construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily site operations and manage site activities from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, timelines, and budgets where applicable.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to manage site activities, resolve issues, and maintain open lines of communication with internal teams.
  • Monitor construction activities for compliance with drawings, safety standards, quality requirements, and local regulations; conduct regular site inspections and audits.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications; provide technical advice and support to resolve design or construction issues.
  • Implement quality control procedures; conduct tests and inspections of materials and workmanship to meet standards.
  • Enforce safety regulations, lead safety briefings, and promote a safety-first culture on site.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders, and as-built drawings; prepare reports on site conditions and work progress.
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of construction materials and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify risks and implement preventive measures to minimize delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards.
  • Assist in project supervision and coordination with architects, engineers, and other professionals; communicate project status and changes to stakeholders.
  • Oversee and manage resources such as materials, equipment, and labor; ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; participate in problem-solving and decision-making to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in site/civil engineering or construction supervision (varies by listing).
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and site management; experience with high-end residential or educational facilities is a plus.
  • Proficiency with construction management tools and software; familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, GIS, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work in a team.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and conduct site inspections; willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Valid license/certification as required (e.g., Licensed Civil Engineer; Professional Engineer or equivalent may be preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
