As a Game Designer, you will be responsible for designing and executing a hypercasual to casual game from start to finish. We are looking for well-rounded game designers with experience in a wide variety of design tasks. You will be reporting to a Senior or Lead Game Designer and collaborate across disciplines (product, art, engineering, QA, etc) to deliver fun game experiences to our users.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Senior or Lead Game Designer in defining the game’s design vision in order to achieve target KPIs
  • Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and develop game features
  • Prototype and iterate game mechanics using Unity, spreadsheets, and other tools
  • Review, balance, and bug fix their game regularly to make sure it fulfills the intended user experience
  • May act as product owner for their game. Champion the design to hit product outcomes, ensuring solutions are efficient, impactful, and meet requirements
  • Assess and prioritize design changes based on user stories, analytics, and feedback
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of professional experience in mobile and/or web game design
  • Excellent understanding of game design (core loop, progression, engagement, monetization, etc)
  • Experience with Unity and Google Sheets for prototyping and production
  • Strong team player with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with experience working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proactive and creative with the drive to improve and continuously learn
Bonus:
  • Experience with Figma or similar UX tools
  • Experience with analytics tools
  • Experience with agile methodologies
