Overview
The Asset Protection Associate is a key remote team member supporting the safety, security, and loss prevention efforts of our wireless retail operations. Based internationally, this role focuses on driving accountability for failed safety and security procedures, ensuring law enforcement documentation is secured for insurance purposes, and supporting the Asset Protection Specialist with operational audits, cycle counts, and video reviews.

Specific Certifications/Technical SkillsInsurance and Risk Handling, Surveillance & Case Management Systems Experience with: Verkada & LTS, Microsoft Office, Communication & Coordination Tools Microsoft Teams, Zoom For real-time communication with PDs, store teams, and AP leadership. Email & Task Management Tools Gmail/Outlook for correspondence with police departments Tools like Smartsheet (if used internally for AP case tracking), Data Handling & Security Awareness Understanding of data protection best practices for handling: Police reports Sensitive personnel info Surveillance footage Insurance documentation
KPIs (Position will be measured)Days to collect PD reports, Days to close cases, Cases Closed VS Cases open, Insurance claims submitted, Cycle count completed and amount recovered
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and basic insurance documentation needs. (preferred but not required)
- Proficient with Microsoft (Excel, Word, Drive, Outlook) and incident management tools.
- Highly dependable, discreet, and capable of managing sensitive information.
- Preferred:1+ year experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or retail operations (wireless or telecom retail preferred).
- Experience working in a remote support role across international borders.
- Understanding of retail audit procedures and inventory accuracy controls.
- Exposure to video surveillance platforms and digital case file organization.
- This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced, remote support environment.
