Overview

Mövenpick Resort and Spa Boracay is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Chief Accountant to join our finance team based in Aklan, Western Visayas. This is a full-time position and will play a vital role in overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities.

What you'll be doing
  • Month end closing and supervising month end stock verification.
  • Prepares all-journal vouchers for month-end closing.
  • Supervising General Cashier and paymaster.
  • G/L accounting and reconciliation on monthly basis.
  • Assists Finance Manager in budget preparation and input, forecast reports and monthly reporting to corporate finance.
What we're looking for
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • 5 years relevant work experience as Accounting Executive/Senior Accountant.
  • Knowledgeable in finance and accounting from hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Background in Opera, Sunsystem and Material Control.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience in luxury hotel/resort is a plus.
