Role Description

The Chief Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, supporting the Director of Finance in managing the hotel’s daily accounting operations. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational integrity across all finance functions. Responsibilities include overseeing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processes. The Chief Accountant also prepares financial statements, contributes to budgeting and forecasting, and enforces internal controls to safeguard assets and support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge in managing accounting operations such as Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Cost Accounting
  • Experience in coordinating and completing annual audits, and preparing financial statements
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting
  • Knowledge of compliance with local financial regulations
  • Excellent internal control policy and procedure development skills
  • Ability to oversee budget processes
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on-site in a full-time role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
