Chief Accountant

About the role

Mövenpick Resort and Spa Boracay is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Chief Accountant to join our finance team based in Aklan, Western Visayas. This is a full-time position and will play a vital role in overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities.

What you'll be doing

•Month end closing and supervising month end stock verification.

•Prepares all-journal vouchers for month-end closing.

•Supervising General Cashier and paymaster.

•G/L accounting and reconciliation on monthly basis.

•Assists Finance Manager in budget preparation and input, forecast reports and monthly reporting to corporate finance.

What we're looking for

•Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

•5 years relevant work experience as Accounting Executive/Senior Accountant.

•Knowledgeable in finance and accounting from hospitality industry is preferred.

•Background in Opera, Sunsystem and Material Control.

•Good communication skills.

•Experience in luxury hotel/resort is a plus.
