The Accounting Manager / Assistant Accounting Manager – Financial leads the financial and management accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. CPA with strong ERP system experience; agribusiness or manufacturing background preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (general ledger, accounts receivable, collections, inventory transactions, month-end/year-end closings) ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure statutory and internal reporting requirements are met; prepare financial reports, reconciliations, dashboards, and regulatory submissions.
  • Strengthen internal controls, support audits, and monitor policy compliance to safeguard assets.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team; promote cross-functional collaboration for financial decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements and cost-control initiatives (e.g., commission processing, inventory accuracy, interplant transactions).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CPA required.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial and management accounting; agribusiness/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience.
  • ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willing to work onsite/hybrid in Parañaque City; willing to travel for field work as needed.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NAV) and strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of local and international accounting standards and tax compliance.
