The Tamakoshi V Hydroelectric Project (99.8 MW) is a nationally strategic undertaking. The project is led by SINOHYDRO – KSNS JV under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) framework. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Survey Engineer to join our team and support critical construction and geospatial activities on-site. Project and Employer Project: Tamakoshi-V Hydroelectric Project (99.8 MW) Location: Bigu & Gaurisankar Municipalities, Tamakoshi, Dolakha District, Nepal Employer: SINOHYDRO – KSNS JV Department: Survey Employment Type: Fixed Term (On-Site) Reports To: Survey Manager / Site In-charge Number of Vacancies: 1 Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (BE) in Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of professional experience in surveying, measurement, and construction supervision, preferably within EPC hydropower or infrastructure projects. Key Requirements Proficiency in surveying software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, MS Project). Hands-on experience with survey instruments such as Total Station, Theodolite, and Laser Level. Strong understanding of tunnel excavation support, concrete pouring standards, and construction methodologies. Knowledge of land laws, zoning regulations, and BOQ interpretation. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maps. Excellent mathematical, analytical, and documentation skills. Physically fit to work in outdoor and site-based environments. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct accurate on-site measurements and verify quantities against BOQs and technical drawings. Assist in the preparation of interim payment certificates (IPCs) and validate contractor invoices. Monitor compliance with technical specifications and project quality standards. Support engineers in field documentation, including excavation, lining, and concrete pouring activities. Collaborate with the billing, planning, and quality control departments for data accuracy and reporting. Maintain updated records, measurement logs, and site changes for billing and audit purposes.
