Responsibilities
  • Ensure all team members meet KPIs, statutory/client deadlines, and follow internal SOPs.
  • Provide adequate support to the team for all accounting requirements.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance both technical and people management skills.
  • Ensure clients receive timely and accurate accounting information and support.
  • Act as the first point of contact for client complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and implement improvements to maintain high service standards.
  • Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and propose workflow improvements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
Day-to-Day Duties
  • Supervise and guide the accounting team to deliver work in line with company quality standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Assistant Managers to design and implement training programs aligned with team and industry needs.
  • Understand client needs and streamline workflows to deliver more client-centric service.
  • Serve as the first tier in resolving accounting-related issues with clients.
  • Ensure the team continuously develops both technical expertise and soft skills for career progression.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
  • Degree/diploma in accountancy (ACCA/ISCA certificate a plus).
  • 3–6 years of experience in an outsourcing firm; 1–2 years of people management experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong drive to excel professionally and to guide and motivate others.
  • Ability to manage own workload independently, work under pressure, and juggle multiple tasks.
  • Experience with Xero is an added advantage.
