We're searching for a Senior Procurement Buyer who will focus on the following responsibilities. Key Responsibilities 1. Procurement The position exists to handle procurement and administrative duties related to purchases of materials and service requirement of the company. This requires focused attention for the delivery of the best quality products, goods and services at the most reasonable price in the most opportune time in order to contribute to the timely attainment of company projects, goals and objectives. This will involve technical discussion with vendors and end-users to satisfy technical requirements of equipment’s, tooling’s and other production needs. Interacts directly with Production, Operations Support Group and Quality Support Services to ensure the delivery of correct/right materials, goods and service requirements of the company. Works closely with Planning, Warehouse and Finance Departments for the maintenance of a healthy inventory and the payment of accountabilities with suppliers, respectively. This requires accurate documentation and speedy resolution of grievances and complaints by end-users on defective or unacceptable goods. Shall also be responsible for the maintenance of Material Master in SAP for the different product lines in LEPI. 2. Supplier Selection and Evaluation Responsible for the consistent implementation of established company policies on supplier selection, accreditation and evaluation (including Supplier Site Audits). It is also responsible for the review and revision of the established procedures on supplier accreditation and evaluation as appropriate. Build and maintain a credible and a professional business relationship with suppliers. Job Requirements: Minimum of bachelor's degree preferably in Materials and Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or other related fields with equivalent experience in procurement activities in multi-national setup, contract administration and supplier selection. 5-10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment. Knowledge in process/equipment engineering, capable of understanding tools and equipment specifications and applications. Special Abilities and Key Competencies: 1. Knowledge of existing Customs and PEZA policies, rules and regulations. 16. Familiarity with common accounting principles and practices and the analysis and reporting of data. 17. Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint for the generation of company reports. 18. Thorough knowledge of government requirements, policies, rules and regulations governing the purchase of goods and services of the company.
