AI Agent Specialist for Marketing Agency

The Role

We’re hiring an AI Agent Specialist to design, build, and maintain production-grade AI systems, ranging from internal assistants (Slack-native) to client-facing performance dashboards and automated insights. You’ll partner with our leadership, account managers, and data team to turn raw data and workflows into reliable AI products that drive measurable outcomes.

What You’ll Own
  • Agentic Assistants (Internal):
  • Build Slack agents that read and summarize relevant channel messages, escalate risks, surface action items, and draft client-ready responses for account managers.
  • Implement retrieval (RAG) over SOPs, briefs, historic client comms, and performance notes to improve answer quality.
  • Automated Insights & Reporting:
  • Ship dashboards and alerting that monitor account health (spend, ROAS, CVR, CPA, LTV), creative performance, and pacing.
  • Create automated weekly “executive summaries” for clients and internal leadership.
  • Data & Integrations:
  • Ingest and unify data from Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, GA4, Hyros, CRM, and billing tools into a warehouse (e.g., BigQuery) with clean, analytics-ready models.
  • Build robust data pipelines, job orchestration, and monitoring.
  • Quality, Safety, and Compliance:
  • Implement guardrails, access controls, and logging (e.g., Langfuse) to ensure reliability, privacy, and auditability.
  • Establish prompt, eval, and versioning best practices.
  • Enablement:
  • Create playbooks/SOPs so non-technical teammates can safely use and improve agents and dashboards.
Responsibilities
  • Architect and ship AI agents using modern LLM stacks (OpenAI/Anthropic, function calling, tools, memory, RAG).
  • Stand up vector search over internal knowledge (SOPs, briefs, historic chats) using Pinecone/Weaviate/FAISS.
  • Build data pipelines (Airflow/Prefect), APIs (FastAPI), and warehouse models (dbt preferred).
  • Integrate with Slack API, Google Ads/YouTube/Meta/TikTok/GA4 APIs, and webhooks.
  • Deliver Looker Studio/Mode/Metabase dashboards and proactive performance alerts.
  • Own observability: accuracy evals, latency/cost tracking, fallbacks, and incident response.
  • Partner with account managers to translate business goals into measurable AI features and KPIs.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 3–7+ years building production AI/automation or ML-backed apps (startups or agencies a plus).
  • Strong Python (and/or TypeScript) with experience in FastAPI/Node, async jobs, and API design.
  • Hands-on with LLM frameworks (LangChain/LlamaIndex), RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
  • Experience with data warehousing (BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift), SQL, and modeling (dbt).
  • Comfortable with cloud (GCP/AWS), containers, CI/CD, and secrets management.
  • Proven track record shipping agents or automation that are used daily by teams
