About the role: We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at the Sotogrande Davao Hotel in Maa, Davao City. As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation across our diverse range of dining outlets. This is a full-time position. What you'll be doing: Develop and implement creative, innovative and profitable menu concepts that align with the company's brand and vision Manage and mentor a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to maintain exceptional culinary standards Oversee the procurement of high-quality ingredients and the effective management of food costs and inventory Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety and hygiene regulations within the kitchen environment Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests Participate in the planning and execution of special events, promotions and culinary initiatives Monitor and maintain kitchen operations, equipment and facilities to optimize efficiency and productivity What we're looking for: Minimum 5 years' experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role within the hospitality industry Formal culinary training and a recognized professional qualification such as a diploma or degree in Culinary Arts Extensive knowledge of global cuisine, current food trends and best practices in commercial kitchen management Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing culinary teams Strong budgeting and cost-control skills, with the ability to optimize food and labor costs Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service Willing to be relocated to any of our properties #J-18808-Ljbffr
