About the role Amorita Resort is seeking an experienced Banquet Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at our stunning resort located in Palawan. As the Banquet Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and execution of high-quality, creative banquet meals and catering services for a variety of events and functions. This is a full-time position that will require you to work closely with our Events and Hospitality teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Job Duties Plan, prepare, and execute banquet menus and catering services for events, conferences, weddings, and other functions Manage a team of talented kitchen staff, providing leadership, mentoring, and training to ensure consistent high-quality food preparation Collaborate with the Events team to design innovative, themed menus that align with the specific needs and preferences of our clients Ensure all food preparation and service adheres to the highest health, safety, and hygiene standards Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost controls to maximize efficiency and profitability Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the guest dining experience Qualifications A minimum of 1 year experience as a Banquet Chef or in a similar senior culinary role within the hospitality industry Proven track record of successfully leading a team of kitchen staff and delivering high-quality, creative banquet menus Extensive knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and service best practices Strong organisational and time management skills to coordinate complex catering operations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and the events team Passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients Relevant qualifications in Culinary Arts or a related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
