Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE :

The Project Electrical Engineer is responsible in the successful planning, design, cost estimation, fabrication, installation, overseeing implementation and documentation of all aspects of the identified electrical projects.

• Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposal in accordance to engineering principles.
• Engage project requester & stakeholders in gathering project requirements.
• Collaborate in the interpretation & establishment of the desired project outcome based on gathered requirements into a detailed plan that can be implemented by the project team.
• Oversee project implementation ensuring that execution is in accordance to design specifications & methodology, within scope, budget and schedule. Any deviation shall be immediately resolved and/or communicated to the project team and project sponsor/owner.
• Minimize project risks by identifying potential risks during design and implementation ensuring that preventive action plans are defined, communicated throughout the project cycle.
• Communicate changes in project scope affecting budget & schedule so that proper change requests are managed.
• Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed. Violation on safety protocols are documented & reported for proper handling.
• Ensure the quality of the project by defining it, committing to it, managing it, performing quality checking; control & correcting, focusing on the scope & requirements & documenting lessons learned throughout the project cycle.
• Keep & maintain accurate plans, records and files according to quality management standard.
• Provide assistance in the procurement of goods & services by handling technical review of potential vendors or service providers for the project with utmost integrity & impartiality.
• Recommend award for implementation of projects.
• Ensure compliance of food safety and good housekeeping based on the standard requirements of 5S, GMP, HACCP, ISO, ERM and Halal.
• Regularly communicates & send updates on the status of the projects being handled.
• Performs other related task as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

• Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
• Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

• Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
• Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Education:

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in electrical designing, and installation and other related work.
• Experience in handling projects.

Licenses:

• Preferably a Registered Electrical Engineer

Other Requirements:

• Has lots of initiatives
• Good organization skills
• Ability to communicate well, both written and oral.
• Knowledgeable on basic ACAD operation and has ability to explain design ideas & plans clearly.
• Effective technical skills.
• Fundamental knowledge electrical design and its application in automation industrial designs.

• Physical Effort: Light work requiring little physical effort
• Working Conditions and Hazards: Occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements
