Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly knowledgeable Tax Specialist to oversee our organization’s tax compliance and planning activities. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate and timely filing of returns, support leadership with tax advice, and help manage audits and regulatory requirements. This position requires a strong background in Philippine tax law, including BIR regulations, as well as familiarity with SEC and LGU filings. You will play a key role in identifying potential tax exposures early and supporting sound tax strategy implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and file accurate tax returns on time
- Identify tax exposures ahead of BIR audits or notices (LOA, PAN, FAN/FLD)
- Support tax audits and prepare required documentation
- Advise management on tax strategies and regulatory updates
- Ensure compliance with SEC filings (GIS, AFS) and LGU business permits
- Track changes in tax laws and assess implications for the company
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial accuracy and reporting
- Licensed CPA or Lawyer (Required)
- At least 3 years experience in tax compliance and advisory
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and audit processes
- Familiarity with SEC and LGU compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
