Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • Minimum of three (3) years actual experience in Taxation (end to end)
  • With proven supervisory experience
  • Good communication skills and reporting skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees all tax compliance processes and leads the tax team to ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • Focuses on tax compliance, risk management, process efficiency, and regulatory updates.
  • Makes decisions on tax treatments, compliance strategy, and resolution of complex tax issues.
  • Leads tax team leads and specialists, ensuring timely execution of tax filings and risk mitigation.
  • Manages teams handling preparation, filing, payment, and reconciliation of national and local tax obligations.
  • Oversees accurate preparation and timely filing of all tax returns and payments.
  • Reviews tax reconciliations and ensures alignment with financial records.
  • Manages tax risk assessments and leads responses to BIR audits or inquiries.
  • Implements process improvements and develops team capability in tax compliance.
  • Ensures compliance with BIR, SEC, DHSUD, and other regulatory tax requirements.
  • Responsible for tax compliance, tax reconciliations, and managing tax-related risks for all property operations.
  • Does not handle general accounting, financial planning, or operational budgeting tasks.
