Your Role An Accounting Data Entry Specialist is expected to do: Do outbound calls to clients (0–5+ calls a month) to follow up on items that need clarification or are missing. Prepare and review tax organizers to gather information for filing 1040 individual tax returns, business tax returns, amended tax returns, and state tax returns. Assist Tax Preparers with reviewing IRS transcripts to confirm all income has been entered into tax software. Review client documents and ensure all necessary documents (W2s, 1099s, expenses, etc.) are received, requested, and properly entered in the client’s case file. Collaborate regularly with various teams to deliver the best possible outcome on tax returns prepared. Assist Tax Preparers by entering data from client documents into the tax software program. Review tax returns to ensure no signatures are missing before processing a tax return to the IRS/State entities. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. What You Need (Non‑negotiables) Experience in the finance industry, billing, or accounting. Must have experience with outbound calls, emails, and client communications. Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office, email, G‑suite. Must be proficient in speaking English, meticulous attention to detail, and high sense of accountability. Must be willing to work onsite in MOA doing night shift. Preferred Skills/Expertise Background in medical authorizations and billing, or experience in the tax industry (not required). Strong multitasker. Excellent organizational, time‑management, written, and communication skills. Self‑starter, industrious, and motivated. Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office, email, G‑suite. Ability to remain focused and productive in a fast‑paced environment. Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
