
Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring product availability, and building strong, sustainable partnerships with key accounts in the Philippines. This includes managing strategic retail and industrial accounts, leading government hospital tender participation, and expanding access through innovative programs such as the SciGen Navigation and Access Program (SNAP). The role requires a combination of commercial acumen, account management expertise, and deep knowledge of the local pharmaceutical landscape.
Responsibilities- Retail Key Account Management: Lead engagement with Mercury Drug, ensuring consistent product availability across branches and driving demand generation initiatives.
- Government Hospital Tenders: Manage tender participation with a strong focus on profitability, compliance, and sustainability.
- Industrial Accounts: Drive penetration within the MVP Group of Companies , expanding access to SciGen medicines through employee benefit programs.
- Hospital Partnerships: Strengthen collaboration with MPPHI Hospitals (Manny Pangilinan Group of Hospitals) to increase product access and adoption.
- Access Programs: Implement and expand SNAP (SciGen Navigation and Access Program) to enhance patient support and access to treatment.
- Build, manage, and grow long-term partnerships with key stakeholders including procurement managers, hospital administrators, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and proactively address challenges.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, local regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven track record in pharmaceutical or healthcare key account management, with at least 3 years handling Mercury Drugstore (MDC), Watsons, or SSD accounts.
- Solid experience in government hospital tender participation and industrial account penetration.
- Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholder levels.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to compliance, ethics, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
