Senior Technical Manager

Overview Position will deploy the technical and marketing strategy for swine business in Vietnam. The role will lead all technical strategy planning and technical implementation. The role provides technical planning and technical execution to the sales team and customers. Primary Accountabilities Under the guidance of regional/global species team, identify and implement strategies to drive success in the Swine product arena, working closely with the Business Unit Head and Key account & commercial teams. Develop long term technical strategy to align regional and global swine team. Develop and execute the annual technical plan to support Key account & commercial team to achieve the annual business target. Design and develop the technical training program to improve the technical skill of the commercial team. Build the KOLs network to enhance the technical service and bring excellent technical service to customers. Liaise between the company and KOLs/university professors on industry issues. Contribute and speak at key industry technical and commercial meetings. Work with marketing on technical information and the development of support material for Animal Health products used in the swine industry. Provide input to research and development for future new product development and implementation into the swine industry. Develop and present new product information and training to the sales force (KAM and Technical sales teams) and key customers. Manage the technical and device team. Experience and Education Strong background in animal production and animal health. Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese. 10 years of experience in the Animal Health industry, more than 5 years working on swine farms. Degree in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry is a must. MBA or Master’s Degree is highly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of swine diseases and their impact on swine production. Knowledge of commercial swine production systems as it relates to vaccines and vaccination programs, swine management, MFAs, and nutrition. Ability to adapt and work to multiple, often tight deadlines. Ability to work closely in a strong team environment, while also working independently to achieve requirements. Competent in written and spoken English. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development abilities.
