Overview

Technical Associate Product Manager - Product Development role at FactSet, located in Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-release iteration.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product area, providing deep domain knowledge to internal teams.
• Define and manage product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to develop innovative, technically sound solutions.
• Communicate with stakeholders and translate complex technical information into business terms.
• Use analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python) to monitor product performance and derive actionable insights.
• Package and deliver product offerings through feeds, APIs, and cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS) to meet client integration needs.
• Gather client feedback, identify backlog adjustments, and balance tactical and strategic priorities to achieve business outcomes.
• Identify dependencies and influence cross-functional Agile teams to deliver shippable products.
• Maintain a strong customer- and market-focused perspective, with an understanding of how initiatives fit into the overall Markets strategy.
• Communicate progress clearly across levels of the organization.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, economics, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in product management, technical product development, or a similar role.
• Ability to connect business goals with technical implementation and use data to validate assumptions and drive decisions.
• Strong understanding of product development methodologies and system architecture.
• Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within a financial markets domain.
• Proficiency in data analysis and metrics tracking; experience with SQL and Python is preferred.

Desired Skills

• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake and AWS is a plus.
• Ability to plan 2–3 steps ahead, surface risks, and drive risk mitigation within the team.
• Proficient in refining product backlogs, writing user stories, and developing acceptance criteria.
• Strategic thinker with business sense and a passion for delivering customer value.
• Persuasive communicator able to influence global, cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Index data and Market data context and market.
• Strong track record of delivering valuable products on time.
• Strong product instincts for creating a compelling vision, roadmap, and competitive analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to evaluating user feedback and analytics.
