Job Summary

• Be able to map Group processes to Regulatory requirements with a Customer Journey focus.

• Help manage a regulatory clearance and engagement strategy for projects and initiatives related to data, technology, operations, and outsourcing risk, and participate in the roll-out with business lines, functions, and other compliance teams.

• Provide concise and relevant status updates to stakeholders, project working groups, project steering committees, and proactively escalate issues as necessary.

• Work closely with COO and stakeholders from Risk Management, Security, Cloud Assurance, CISO teams.

• Have an awareness of overall cloud technology and carry out day-to-day work to achieve overarching goals.

• Have a detailed understanding of the technology regulatory landscape as it pertains to FSIs, focusing on Outsourcing and Cloud.

• Have a background in Risk & Compliance, Cyber Security, and/or Audit.

• Identify and evaluate risk response options and provide management with information for decision-making.

• Review risk responses with relevant stakeholders for validation of efficiency, effectiveness, and economy.

• Apply risk criteria to develop the risk profile for approval.

• Assist in developing risk response action plans to address identified risk factors.

• Implement tools for management dashboards and workflows, such as the Compliance Dashboard.

• Undertake quality assurance reviews of documentation for country engagement and facilitate regulatory approval materials.

Key Responsibilities

Business: Apply critical thinking to make decisions and understand the limits of responsibility and when to seek input from others.

Processes: Provide expert advice on Cloud Clearing House and Material Cloud Arrangement Profile submissions.

Risk Management: Advise on risk assessment narratives and normalize approval processes to speed delivery.

Governance: Interpret relevant regulations, build relationships with global teams, and report weekly status updates.

Regulatory & Business Conduct: Uphold high standards of ethics, compliance, and escalate issues as needed.

Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with app/project teams, risk managers, risk and security teams, CIOs, and audit teams.

Other Responsibilities: Embody company values, perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

- Strong communication and influencing skills.

- Risk and control management expertise.

- Knowledge of Cloud Governance, Regulatory, and Compliance.

- Basic understanding of AWS and Azure cloud technologies.

- Familiarity with Agile Methodology.

- Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

- Degree in a relevant discipline.

- Risk, Control, Cloud (AWS/Microsoft) training.

- Relevant certifications.

- Proficiency in English.
