About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for online marketplace clients - ensuring their needs are met, issues are resolved efficiently, and opportunities for business growth are maximized. Your role will involve developing account strategies, analyzing campaign performance, optimizing visibility, and collaborating across internal teams to deliver exceptional results. Success in this role requires strong analytical acumen, client management expertise, and a deep understanding of e-commerce marketplace dynamics.

Work hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm MNL Time with flexibility required to attend early morning or late night calls depending on the need

What you’ll do

Account Strategy & Business Planning

Develop comprehensive business plans and account strategies for assigned marketplace clients to support global channel growth.

Conceptualize and lead tailored marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Align buying strategies with campaign planning to ensure business goals (sales, gross margin, and sell-through rate) are achieved.

Campaign Performance & Post-Sale Analytics

Conduct in-depth post-campaign analysis to identify missed opportunities and develop action plans for future performance improvements.

Integrate campaign insights into strategic account planning to maximize sales and profitability.

Competitive & Pricing Analysis

Perform competitive audits across partners with low conversion to refine pricing strategies and improve performance.

Monitor competitor activities, pricing models, and promotional tactics to adapt effectively and maintain market edge.

Data-Driven Insights & Consumer Behavior Analysis

Leverage tools such as page view reports, search term data, traffic analytics, and SKU performance metrics to understand customer buying behavior.

Identify high-performing and underperforming SKUs to optimize product assortment and positioning.

Marketplace Optimization & Visibility

Utilize internal data platforms and web analytics tools to monitor item visibility and enhance product presence across various marketplace platforms.

Continuously optimize listings, keywords, and content to drive discoverability and improve conversion.

Cross-Functional Project Management

Lead and oversee multiple marketplace-related initiatives, ensuring timelines, resources, and departmental collaboration are managed effectively.

Coordinate with Product, Finance, Operations, and Data teams to execute high-impact projects and align with business goals as well as balancing price, product assortment, promotions, and operational efficiencies.

Market Intelligence & Business Development

Stay current with market trends, customer preferences, emerging platforms, and competitive dynamics.

Provide actionable insights to the wider business to support strategic decision-making and identify new growth opportunities.

Client Management & Revenue Growth

Manage top-tier marketplace clients with a focus on achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.

Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as the key liaison and trusted advisor for all business matters.


What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-commerce, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

+5 years of experience in e-commerce, account management, or marketplace strategy

Proven track record of driving sales and growth in a multi-channel or online marketplace environment.

Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI and marketplace reporting tools.

Experience working cross-functionally with product, operations, finance, and marketing teams.

Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Exceptional communication skills in English—both written and verbal—with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally.

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams and functions.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management abilities and a knack for juggling multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Strategic thinker who aligns decisions and actions with the organization’s broader business goals and demonstrates a clear understanding of market dynamics and financial impact.
