The Specialist will be responsible for ensuring SimCorp Dimension (SCD) users have a stable, reliable and high performing AABOR. The successful candidate will be accountable for performing the team\'s daily operations and providing support to business users in addressing moderate to complex business issues.

Position Responsibilities
  • Monitor and clear the SimCorp Dimension (SCD) message queue throughout the day to ensure all transactions are elevated to final status at end of day
  • Monitor the team shared mailbox throughout the day and take appropriate action on the emails received
  • Generate Item of Interest (IOI) ad hoc security requests and monitor that the security master setup occurs within an acceptable time frame
  • Investigate Transaction Hub (THUB) unknown queries and generate ad-hoc transactions to THUB as needed
  • Support ad-hoc analysis to identify root cause of production problems and develop timely solutions
  • Execute user acceptance testing for implementation of new security types and functionalities and system upgrade
  • Execute and validate test cases for end-to-end processes
  • Support period end close processes
  • Collaborate with business users and Global Solutions Delivery (GSD) to create/update/maintain static data tables such as: Security, Transaction, Bank Account, Accounting configuration
  • Identify opportunities to leverage system capabilities to meet business requirements
  • Assist junior team members by resolving complex issues during shift
  • Other duties or projects as assigned from time to time, within or beyond working hours if needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related business field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in Investment Operations and Fund Accounting
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: amenability to work onsite and from home as needed; willing to work a day shift
  • Experience working directly with business clients in addition to application support teams
  • Previous experience in investment operations in insurance or financial services
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal departments and external partners
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills; ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable influencing without authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to learn new skills, adapt and take on new challenges
  • Open to working a rotating schedule (e.g., Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday)
