Procurement Manager – Capital JLL has an opportunity for a Procurement Manager to take responsibility for the coordination and management of consultants, contractors, client stakeholders, and vendors for the successful delivery and execution of capital projects for our client across Asia. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies that maximize savings and commercial opportunities while ensuring compliance and fostering innovation. Your duties will include leading robust tendering processes, working closely with JLL Engineering and operational site teams to identify suitable vendors, implementing clear objectives and quality control systems for all commercial activities. By coordinating closely with various stakeholder teams, you'll play a crucial role in delivering successful outcomes for capital projects. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a structured approach to tasks. You'll need to manage the demands of capital project procurement, requiring adaptability and strong organizational, sourcing and project management skills. As the person in charge, your task is to continue our tradition of project success. You’ll accomplish this by creating a network of consultants and contractors who can deliver the required scope of every project. Your expertise will also be central in identifying project risks and mitigating them. Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for developing project-related reports, analyses and reviews regularly. A Snapshot of the Role Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record in managing the capital sourcing process for projects in a similar role. A background in Quantity Surveying and/or Project Management is beneficial. Strong understanding of the fit-out, capital, and construction industries; construction methods; and project lifecycles. Experience with the operational aspects of mission-critical facilities and infrastructure systems will be highly regarded. Identify early warnings and work with clients and project teams to suggest and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures. Responsible for cost planning, cost control, procurement management, construction cost management, and associated project reporting duties. Advise project teams on cost-effective and value-added solutions. Monitor the procurement process, including tendering, recommendations, and contract awards. Develop and maintain long‑term partnerships with vendors; manage vendor selection, evaluation, and improvement initiatives. Collaborate with clients and project management teams to translate business requirements into time‑bound actions. Recommend sourcing and e‑bidding strategies for capital projects. Manage complex analyses and share actionable insights. Engage independently with project suppliers. Perform ad‑hoc assignments as directed by management. Sound Like You? To Apply, You Will Need to Have: Results‑focused, passionate about continuous improvement, and able to maintain a high level of client satisfaction with minimal issues. A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a related cost, or capital sourcing/ procurement/supply chain management role. Background in Quantity Surveying, Commercial, or Construction preferred. Strong understanding of new‑built construction projects. Strong technical sourcing & procurement experience, including RFP management, contract management, negotiation, supplier relationship management, evaluation and analysis skills. Ability to work both independently and part of a wider team, managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Logical approach and high attention to detail. Bachelor's degree, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or an equivalent field preferred. Experience working with E‑sourcing tools Proficiency in Mandarin is favorable but not essential.
