Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in NetSuite implementations as a functional consultant and / or sales engineering experience. The ideal candidate is results‑driven, highly organized, and a total team player with a proven track record of exceeding quota in a fast‑paced sales environment. An accounting background and familiarity with payment processors such as Stripe are strong pluses. Key Responsibilities Drive New Business & Revenue Growth : Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and closing in HubSpot CRM. Leverage NetSuite Expertise : Utilize deep knowledge of NetSuite to effectively position PayPack solution, conduct product demonstrations, and address client pain points. Solution Selling & Sales Engineering : Act as a trusted advisor , working closely with prospective clients to understand their challenges and recommend tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Client Engagement & Relationship Management : Build strong, long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers at mid‑market and enterprise‑level companies. Quota Achievement & Performance Excellence : Consistently exceed assigned sales quotas and key performance metrics through strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and disciplined follow‑ups. Cross‑functional Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing, product, and implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery. Partner Enablement: Participate in partner enablement sessions to educate partners on existing and new features, address partner inquiries, etc. Industry & Product Knowledge : Stay up‑to‑date on PayPack’s solutions, industry trends, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge in the payments market. Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of proven experience in a quota‑carrying sales role, preferably within a SaaS or fintech environment . 2‑3+ years of proven experience implementing NetSuite as a functional consultant . Experience with Stripe and payment processing technologies is a plus. Stripe Professional Implementation Architect certification is a plus. Strong sales engineering background , with the ability to conduct product demonstrations and articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong NetSuite experience includes but not limited to identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures, leading work streams and supporting implementations; providing NetSuite consulting expertise utilizing industry experience, business analysis, best practices and a pragmatic mindset to facilitate clients’ most complex requirements. Also, implementing and deploying NetSuite solutions that accommodate unique industry business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business requirements. Creating functional requirements as an input to application design. Building, developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes. Driving test planning, execution, and optimization support. Conducting business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions with new customers to determine configuration requirements. Preparing Business Requirements and Technical Scoping Documents resulting from the above noted mapping sessions to provide proposed solutions for the requirements for customer approval. Building, developing and testing detailed scripted customized solutions and prototypes. Troubleshooting issues that arise during configuration sessions. Providing on‑going post implementation support to optimize user adoption and NetSuite configuration. A track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Highly organized with strong time management and pipeline management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills , with the ability to engage C‑level executives and key stakeholders. Relevant certifications in NetSuite, sales methodologies, or other systems that integrate with NetSuite in a prebuilt or custom format.
