Job Description The Project Based Civil Engineer is accountable for the comprehensive planning, design, cost estimation, construction supervision, implementation, and documentation of all designated civil and structural engineering projects. This role demands a results‑oriented professional who ensures each project is delivered on time, within budget, and fully aligned with engineering standards and company quality policies. Additionally, the Civil Engineer is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and maintenance of general plant facilities, infrastructure, and structural components associated with the flour and feed mills, requiring strong commitment to engineering excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Duties And Responsibilities Facilitate civil or structural projects from ideation, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control to closing and turnover. Engage stakeholders, process owners, and project sponsors, gathering requirements for the project. Conduct comprehensive hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control of the assigned project. Establish project scopes, prepare concept design and layout plans, generate cost estimates, and Bill of Quantities. Monitor the execution phase, ensuring all scopes are implemented within schedule and budget. Maintain accurate plans, records, and files according to quality management standards. Assist in procurement of goods and services, handling technical review of potential vendors or service providers with integrity and impartiality. Ensure compliance with food safety and good housekeeping based on 5S, GMP, HACCP, ISO, ERM, and Halal standards. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior. General Plant Facility Management Monitor condition of plant building structures and general plant facilities, ensuring reliability, safety, and good condition; identify and analyze defects. Develop and recommend action plans for repair and maintenance of identified defects. Recommend action plans for sourcing and engaging appropriate services and materials needed for effective and on‑time implementation of maintenance works. Implement approved plans for repairs and maintenance, ensuring methodologies and materials conform to specifications and applicable standards. Track repairs and maintenance expenditures, ensuring proper charging is implemented. Maintain preventive maintenance program and registry for buildings, ground, and plant facilities. Food Safety Comply with company quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards, and regulations. Report problems related to Halal, food safety, and quality management system to identified authorities. Other Tasks Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management, etc. Perform other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior. Qualifications Education: Licensed Civil Engineer. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in construction project engineering; preferably with experience in project planning and design. Other Requirements: Lots of initiative; good organization and time management skills; excellent oral and written communication; positive attitude and willingness to work overtime if required; basic ACAD operation knowledge and ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly; effective technical skills and firm grasp of engineering concepts.
