Job Description The Project Based Civil Engineer is accountable for the comprehensive planning, design, cost estimation, construction supervision, implementation, and documentation of all designated civil and structural engineering projects. This role delivers each project on time, within budget, and in full alignment with engineering standards and company quality policies. The Civil Engineer is also responsible for strategic planning, execution, and maintenance of general plant facilities, infrastructure, and structural components associated with the flour and feed mills, including ancillary systems. This role requires a strong commitment to engineering excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all assigned projects. Key Duties And Responsibilities Project Management Facilitate civil or structural projects from ideation, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control to closing and turnover. Engage stakeholders, process owners and project sponsors to gather requirements. Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control for the assigned project. Establish project scopes, prepare concept design, layout plans, and generate cost estimates and Bill of Quantities. Monitor the execution phase to ensure scope is implemented on schedule and within budget. Maintain accurate plans, records and files according to quality management standards. Assist in procurement by reviewing potential vendors or service providers with integrity and impartiality. Ensure compliance with food safety and good housekeeping standards (5S, GMP, HACCP, ISO, ERM, Halal). Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior. General Plant Facility Management Monitor the condition of plant building structures and general facilities to ensure reliability and safety; identify and analyze defects. Develop and recommend action plans for repair and maintenance of identified defects. Identify and recommend actions for sourcing and engaging services and materials for maintenance works. Implement approved maintenance plans, ensuring methods and materials meet specifications and standards. Track repairs and maintenance expenditures and ensure proper charging. Maintain the preventive maintenance program and registry for buildings, grounds and plant facilities. Food Safety Comply with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company. Report problems related to Halal, food safety and quality management systems to identified authorities. Other Tasks Actively participate in company programs and activities related to quality improvement, safety, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management, etc. Perform other tasks related to the job as assigned by the immediate superior. Qualifications Education Must be a licensed Civil Engineer Experience At least 2 years of experience in construction project engineering. Preferably experience in project planning and design.
