Job Description The Project-Based Civil Engineer is accountable for comprehensive planning, design, cost estimation, construction supervision, implementation, and documentation of all designated civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and adherence to engineering standards and company quality policies. Key Duties and Responsibilities Project Management Facilitate civil or structural projects from ideation to closing and turnover. Engage stakeholders, process owners and sponsors and gather requirements. Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment and control. Establish scopes, prepare concept designs, layout plans, cost estimates and BOM. Monitor execution, ensuring scope, schedule and budget compliance. Maintain accurate plans, records and files per quality standards. Assist procurement by handling technical review of potential vendors. Ensure compliance with food safety and good housekeeping based on 5S, GMP, HACCP, ISO, ERM and Halal. Perform other related tasks as assigned. General Plant Facility Management Monitor building structures and general plant facilities for reliability, safety and condition. Identify and analyze defects in plant building and general plant facilities. Recommend and source appropriate services and materials for maintenance. Implement approved repair plans and ensure conformity to specifications. Track repair expenditures and proper charging. Maintain preventive maintenance program and registry for buildings, ground and plant facilities. Food Safety Comply with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations. Report problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to authorities. Other Tasks Participate in company programs under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, CSR, risk management, etc. Perform other tasks related to the job as assigned. Qualifications Licensed Civil Engineer. At least 2 years of experience in construction project engineering. Preferably experience in project planning and design. Other Requirements High initiative. Good organization and time‑management skills. Effective communication – written and oral. Positive attitude and willingness to work overtime if required. Basic AutoCAD operation skills and clear explanation of design ideas. Strong technical skills and firm grasp of engineering concepts. Physical Effort Light work requiring little physical effort.
