GERONA ENTERPRISES is a specialist in the construction of bridges, ports and wharves. We have varied experiences, both offshore and onshore, in heavy pile driving of reinforced concrete, steel and composite pile. We have installed different kinds of pier heads; finger wharves; mooring buoys; breasting and mooring dolphins with accessories like rubber fenders, mooring bollards and others. All other works necessary for the construction and maintenance of port facilities like dredging works and installations of cathodic protection and pipelines. We have also done various reclamation and shoreline protection projects. The work also includes drainage and river control system as well as construction, rehabilitation and improvements of roads with massive earthworks, steelworks and concrete works.

Qualifications & experience

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Civil Engineering. Preferably licensed
  • Exercise sound judgement and decision making to produce accurate and high quality valuation reports
  • Demonstrates mature communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and can render Overtime.
  • Willing to travel for site inspections
  • Knowledge/Experience/Interest in Maritime Civil Engineering is preferred but not required
  • Willing to relocate or be assigned on site projects

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Analyzing survey reports, long-range plans, maps and other data to design new projects
  • Preparing material, equipment and labor cost estimates and confirming costs are within the budget
  • Using design software to create project drawings and renderings
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD 3D & SketchUp
  • Confers with Client, Contractors and other engineers to clarify and resolve problems; prepares design modifications, as appropriate.
  • Develops scope of work.
  • Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required.
