IT Reporting & Data Specialist - (Home-based)

About The Role: We are looking for a dedicated Reporting & Data Specialist to join our IT team. This person will be our central resource for all reporting, dashboarding, and workflow automation needs, working closely with the IT Manager and stakeholders across the business. The role combines technical skills in Microsoft's Power Platform with a strong understanding of data presentation and business reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary reporting resource for the IT team and wider business.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and related tools.
• Develop and manage workflows and process automations using Power Automate.
• Work with data models (e.g., Microsoft Dataverse, SQL, Excel) to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable reporting.
• Present data in clear, insightful, and user-friendly formats tailored to different business audiences.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain documentation, provide training, and support end users in adopting reporting tools.
• Explore and recommend improvements in data reporting, visualization, and automation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query).
• Practical knowledge of Power Automate for building workflows and process automation.
• General understanding of data modelling concepts and experience with data sources such as SQL, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills—ability to make complex data simple and actionable.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, Dynamics 365, or other Microsoft cloud data platforms.
• Exposure to Power Apps or other Power Platform tools.

• Strong internet connection (minimum of 20 Mbps)
• Own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5, 8GB RAM)
