Overview POS Business Analyst – Finance at FWD Insurance Responsibilities Data Analysis, Troubleshooting, Quality Assurance, Persistency, Policy Investigations using Databases (SQL) or Life Asia. Collect and analyze information from stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, concise requirements. Create and maintain documents such as business requirements documents, functional specifications, and use cases. Identify areas for improvement in business processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Work with various stakeholders, including business users and managers, to ensure alignment and collaboration. Support project management activities, assisting with planning, monitoring, and risk management. Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements and solutions. Support the implementation of solutions, including testing, to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value. Create and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Provide timely responses to ad hoc queries and data requests. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs and inquiries are met. Participate in other key projects and initiatives within the team. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance/accounting/management reporting/analysis Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the insurance industry Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Excel Formulas Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience with SQL scripting and SQL server tools Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience with (Life Asia) IBM Personal Communications (PCOMM) AS400 Legacy Systems or other similar application Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools used in reporting Experience in working collaboratively on projects with various department / functions Familiarity with BI tools (such as Microsoft Power BI / Tableau) About FWD Group FWD Group (1828.HK) is a pan-Asian life and health insurance business that serves approximately 34 million customers across 10 markets, including BRI Life in Indonesia.
