Accounts Payable Team Leader

Job Description
The Accounts Payable Team Leader is responsible for performing all duties of the Accounts Payable function, including accurate and timely processing of invoices, undertaking payment to suppliers, and ensuring all queries and requests are resolved in a timely and professional manner. The role also involves leading the offshore team.
The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional ability to manage multiple projects, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to exercise discretion and contain highly confidential information. A Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting is preferred, and 5+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role is required.
The key responsibilities of the role include team management, accounts payable, stakeholder management, and compliance. The successful candidate will be able to foster an environment of teamwork, provide ongoing professional development to team members, and ensure timely reporting and ad-hoc assistance to all stakeholders.

- Accounts Payable: Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner, reconcile supplier statements, and assist the team with incoming emails and supplier requests.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure timely reporting and ad-hoc assistance to all stakeholders, maintain numerical accuracy, and support communication of AP processes and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities, internal controls, and company audit requirements, and maintain knowledge of ATO guidelines.
