Senior Accountant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ü Prepare bank account reconciliations and promptly research and correct any variances

ü Identify daily activity in bank accounts and record transactions

ü Review vendor invoices and purchase orders for accruals

ü Prepare various balance sheet account reconciliations

ü Prepare and record journal entries

ü Assist with year-end audits

ü Work closely with various departments including finance and operations

ü Identify and execute efficiency and operational improvements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

ü Highly organized, keen to details and efficient, skilled at multi-tasking

ü Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

ü Attentive listener, empathetic, and excellent collaborator

QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION:

· A graduate of any Accounting – Finance degree

· Certified Public Accountant or any equivalent Certification

WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 3 years of private/public company accounting/audit experience

· Public accounting experience a plus

· Experience using and/or implementing large ERP systems; experience with Sage Intacct, Blackline, or Navan a plus

· Proficient in basic applications such as Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.

· Highly motivated and works well in a changing environment

· Detail oriented and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communicator, work well in a team, passionate, respectful and full of integrity
