Your Role Prepare affidavits or other documents, such as legal correspondence, and organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system. Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, and contracts. Prepare for trial by performing tasks such as organizing exhibits. Investigate facts and law of cases and search pertinent sources, such as public records and internet sources, to determine causes of action and to prepare cases. Meet with clients and other professionals to discuss details of the case. Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, and documents. Arbitrate disputes between parties. Maintain and update the legal documents from time to time. Research relevant legal materials to aid decision‑making. Meet with individuals involved in legal processes to provide information and clarify issues associated with HR. Evaluate information related to legal matters in public or personal records. Coordinate legal schedules or activities. Represent the interests of the company in legal proceedings. Collaborate with HR from time to time on labor issues and other legal documentation. Prepare, secure, and process the required working visa permits needed for expatriate employees with the local government such as DOLE and the Bureau of Immigration. Qualifications for the Role Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. At least 1 year of experience handling cases with DOLE, SENA, NLRC and other government tribunals. Knowledge of the structure and content including the meaning and spelling of words, composition, and grammar. Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process. Evaluating information to determine compliance with standards. Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work. Performing administrative activities. Documenting/recording information. Processing information. Updating and using relevant knowledge. Making decisions and solving problems. Analyzing data or information. Communicating with persons outside the organization. Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. Resolving conflicts and negotiating with others. Handles working visa permits for expatriate employees.
