Insurance Officer The Insurance Officer is responsible for providing clients with expert advice on insurance policies that meet their needs, handling policy issuance, managing renewals, and assisting with claims. The role includes both client-facing responsibilities and back-office tasks to ensure high-quality service delivery and policy compliance. Key Responsibilities Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable products (life, health, property, auto, commercial, etc.). Provide clear explanations of policy terms, coverage options, premiums, and claims procedures. Prepare and process insurance applications, endorsements, and renewals accurately. Follow up with clients for premium payments and renewal notices. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide support throughout the policy lifecycle. Liaise with insurance companies to negotiate policy terms and follow up on approvals. Assist in claims submission and ensure timely and accurate documentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth. Maintain records of policies and client interactions in compliance with data protection regulations. Qualifications and Skills Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (preferred) 13 years of experience in the insurance industry or a sales/customer service environment (Fresh Grad is also welcome) Certification in Insurance (e.g., IC38, ANZIIF, LOMA) is an advantage Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong customer service orientation Good negotiation and persuasion abilities Organizational and time management skills Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management software Analytical thinking and attention to detail Job Type Full-time Benefits Company events Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for promotion Promotion to permanent employee Work Location In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
