Associate Manager

Introduction

In the Associate Manager position, you’ll drive the strategic direction and execution of marketing campaigns for your assigned categories, overseeing planning, budgeting, and partner relationships. You’ll also combine project management with business development, ensuring your campaigns align with ZALORA’s objectives and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities:

ZALORA Advertising Platform

• Drive the strategy, conceptualization, and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with ZALORA’s business objectives and brand positioning.
• Oversee ZAP Revenue planning for assigned categories, including budget recommendations, resource coordination, and performance forecasting.
• Liaise with the GFG Team on tech enhancements and platform initiatives, providing relevant feedback and instructing internal and external stakeholders with the launch of new features.
• Take the lead in project management for all ZAP campaigns, specifically managing offline executions such as pop up stores and events.
• Build relationships with brand partners and secure investments for the ZALORA Advertising Platform (ZAP) to improve their exposure and performance, while achieving advertising revenue targets.
• Manage ZALORA’s Tier 1 brands, taking the lead on one key category.
• Create curated marketing plans that strategically optimize brand budgets, and present comprehensive findings through post-campaign reports, as well as quarterly and annual brand performance reviews.
• Develop case studies for client pitching and support brand partners and their agencies in building efficient media plans and best practices.

Campaign Management & Internal Collaborations

• Take the lead in ZAP operations and collaborate with multiple teams across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service/Experience, as well as Marketing channels (Performance Marketing, Onsite, CRM, Social Media, PR, Partnerships, SEO, etc.) to develop new SOPs to create further brand campaign management efficiencies.

Analytics & Optimization

• Champion data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics and market intelligence to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
• Analyze campaign and business data, generate regular reports, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for the team.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and projects, ensuring targets are met and flagging any variances.
• Leverage analytics platforms and tools to extract and visualize data.

People Management

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Assist junior team members with the development of campaign proposals and negotiation of ex-deals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal outcomes for both ZALORA and its brand partners.
• Provide clear instructions on campaign processes, sharing best practices, setting expectations for quality and timelines, and offering constructive feedback to help them build confidence and independence in their role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
• 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in campaign management.
• Strong background in project management, with proven experience in managing budgets and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial targets.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret both quantitative data and emerging trends to generate actionable insights.
• Impeccable communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, as well as their Google counterparts
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while being meticulous and detail-oriented
• A discerning eye for fashion and design
