We are looking for a Client Manager (Australia) excited about delivering accounting and tax services to SME clients in Australia. This role oversees a portfolio of SME clients, leads a team of junior and senior accountants, and aims for high client satisfaction. Overview Through proprietary software and AI, Sleek makes back-office easy for micro SMEs. We enable Entrepreneurs to focus on growing their business and serving customers. Sleek operates in Corporate Secretary, Accounting & Bookkeeping, and FinTech payments, with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the UK. We have raised Series B financing and are recognized for growth as a leading tech-enabled service provider in Asia. Responsibilities Provide accounting and tax services to a portfolio of Australian startup and SME clients Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients BAS preparation and submission Tax return preparation and submission Provide supervision and control for remote bookkeeping clients Advise and engage with clients on various accounting and taxation matters Hire, train, nurture and grow a team of accountants Qualifications / Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team of accountants servicing Australian clients Location: Philippines preferred Experience in team management – hiring, training and nurturing a team of ambitious accountants Experience managing a portfolio of SME clients with scope ranging from bookkeeping to taxation services Excellent command of client communication and delivery organization Behavioural fit Ownership: Reliability and accountability; ability to see tasks through to completion and proactively address challenges. Humility: Open to feedback and collaboration; fosters a positive work environment. Structured Thinking: Ability to balance complex, multi-country services and make pragmatic decisions. Data driven: Use data to support strategies and measure outcomes. Tech + services savvy: Comfort with software-enabled processes and scaling via technology. Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and learn from incidents. Checks may include verification of education, criminal history, political exposure, and banking history. Consent will be obtained, and adverse findings may affect probation.
