POSITION: COST ACCOUNTANT LEVEL: REPORT TO: SUPERVISORY CFO / FINANCE MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track and analyze production, material, and operational costs. 2. Prepare cost estimates and assist in setting product pricing strategies for both internal use and external trade. 3. Monitor inventory movements and ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in progress, and finished goods. 4. Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, and report findings to management. 5. Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to validate cost data and improve cost efficiency. 6. Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed cost projections and historical data. 7. Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. 8. Review and reconcile cost accounts in the general ledger. 9. Generate periodic cost reports and provide insights to support strategic decision making. 10. Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements based on data analysis. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Graduate of BS Accountancy or any related accounting course. 2. With at least 3-year(s) work experience in Cost or General Accounting 3. Exposure to food manufacturing is preferred. 4. Excellent in oral and written communication skills.
