Overview

Security Manager positions involve overseeing security operations, implementing safety protocols, and managing security teams to protect assets, personnel, and property from threats and risks. Responsibilities include risk assessments, development of security plans, incident response, and collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage security strategies, policies, and a 24/7 security operation to protect employees and assets.
  • Oversee security technology (CCTV, access control, alarms) and ensure operational readiness and maintenance of security infrastructure.
  • Act as primary liaison with law enforcement and government agencies; provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Oversee executive protection programs and support regional travel risk assessments.
  • Conduct inspections of security personnel to verify compliance with deployment requirements; maintain security records and data protection measures.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify threats, and implement solutions to reduce vulnerabilities; conduct security and safety risk assessments and recommend improvements.
  • Investigate security incidents, workplace accidents, and safety concerns; prepare comprehensive reports with corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop policies and procedures to reduce risks and enhance security.
  • Conduct security and safety training programs (defensive driving, accident prevention, security awareness) and initiate awareness campaigns.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, criminology, law enforcement, or a related field; licensed criminology an advantage; familiarity with Philippine laws a plus.
  • More than 7 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or a similar field.
  • Strong expertise in risk management, security investigations, executive protection, and emergency response planning.
  • Proven ability to liaise with law enforcement, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong knowledge of security technology solutions (CCTV, access control, alarms).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
