  • Remote position for a Medical Biller / Accounts Receivable Specialist
  • Hybrid responsibilities including full-cycle medical billing and AR management; some administrative tasks as time allows

Responsibilities

  • Medical Billing: enter patient demographics, insurance, and referrals into EMR
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; obtain prior authorizations as needed
  • Enter charges using CPT/HCPCS/ ICD-10; submit claims; monitor batches
  • Post payments; reconcile remittance advice; track aging; follow up on unpaid/denied claims
  • Denial management, corrections, appeals as needed
  • Patient billing and collections; set up payment plans
  • Assist with AR close processes and record-keeping

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical billing and AR management
