OpsWerks is a technical consulting company specializing in operational services for the high tech industry. As we experience rapid growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Technology Recruiter for Technology roles to join our People Operations and Development (POD) Group. Reporting directly to the PBP Team Manager, the Sr. Technology Recruiter will play a crucial role in executing our growth plans in our Philippines sites, including Manila and Cebu.
Your RoleAs a Senior Technology Recruiter at OpsWerks, you will own the full-cycle recruitment of Site Reliability Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Software and Data Science Engineers across our Manila and Cebu operations. You will partner closely with engineering and people leaders to design and execute strategies that attract top technical talent.
Key Responsibilities- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, and close candidates for all open Technology job roles.
- Lead-Generation Programs: Devise and execute proactive sourcing campaigns (events, referral initiatives, social media, university outreach) to build a strong talent pipeline.
- LinkedIn Recruiter Expertise: Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Reporting & Analytics: Design and maintain recruitment dashboards and reports (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, diversity metrics) for hiring managers and senior management; analyze hiring data to identify trends, forecast hiring needs, and recommend process improvements.
- Job Posting Management: Create, publish, and monitor job advertisements across ATS and external job boards; optimize postings based on performance metrics (click-through rates, application volume, quality of hire).
- Agency & Headhunter Management: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with external headhunters and third-party talent agencies; negotiate terms, track agency performance, and ensure ROI on agency spend.
- Project-Based Recruiter Oversight: Manage and mentor contract/project-based technical recruiters—setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring recruitment SLAs are met.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to engineering leaders—shaping job requisitions, managing expectations, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Process Improvement and Automation: Support the integration of business intelligence tools and data visualization dashboards.
- Cross-Function Collaboration: Ensure the quality of the hiring process and provide timely improvements with all hiring managers; support the team in executing strategic talent acquisition deliverables.
- 5+ years recruiting in the tech industry, with a minimum of 2+ years dedicated to SRE, DevOps, or Cloud engineering roles.
- Proven track record of using LinkedIn Recruiter to source and close senior- to principal-level technical talent.
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing lead-generation programs to proactively build candidate pipelines.
- Hands-on experience managing external agencies and mentoring contract recruiters.
- Working knowledge of modern engineering practices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), infrastructure-as-code tools, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience creating and interpreting recruitment metrics and reports; proficient with at least one major ATS (e.g., Homerun, Lever, Workday) for job posting management and candidate workflow.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities; high energy, self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
