Working independently, the Manager leads the global DDQ team activity and acts as the first point of contact for regional Relationship teams. They ensure appropriate assignment of all proposal activity, assign the correct writer, and provide the appropriate level of review. They drive strategic initiatives defined by the global proposal team head, work across the team and the global group, and escalate matters arising from proposals to resolution. They may work directly on significant proposals and provide support to global proposal projects. They mentor, coach and develop junior team members and offer guidance to offshore teams. They may be assigned projects to drive forward, leading from start to finish with minimal supervision. They ensure collaboration with the database group to create, maintain, improve and enhance content as value-add materials.

The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

• Ensure all proposal work is logged and allocated in a timely manner.
• Ensure fair allocation of tasks across writers.
• Utilise support of global team as needed.
• Oversee coaching and development of the team.
• Monitor and develop procedures in line with best practice and technology developments.
• Drive and manage various project initiatives.
• Implement strategic plan for the global team.

• Oversee the preparation of proposals from start to finish, despatch final response documents, and meet milestones and deadlines with best-practice standards.
• Review the work of other group members.
• Oversee multiple assignments of varying complexity simultaneously.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and content.
• Run major proposal projects individually with minimal supervision.
• Utilize the database and other resources to research and prepare responses.
• Tailor standard responses for individual clients.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and relationship teams to source information.

• Ensure new and updated information is added to the database in conjunction with the database team.
• Liaise with other business areas to maintain factual content of the database.
• Research opportunities to create new database files for new products and services.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing content by improving written quality and using visualization techniques.
• Work with product teams to generate value-add proposal messaging.

The successful candidate would benefit from having:

• Ability to work individually and collaboratively on projects, taking ownership of tasks to completion and seeking guidance when necessary.
• Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Adaptable with the ability to manage changing priorities; willing to take initiative to overcome obstacles and take on new tasks/responsibilities.
• Excellent written and editing skills for development and presentation of marketing and communications materials.
• Ability to work effectively with internal clients, vendors, management and staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; technically savvy.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Excel).
• Experience in proposal management is beneficial, as is an understanding of financial services.

• An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree; 7+ years of related industry experience is beneficial.
