Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist (Philippines) The Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is responsible for accurately and promptly entering payment data from vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable financial system, ensuring timely vendor payments, performing daily control activities, and providing backup support to the AP Supervisor. A thorough understanding of the entire AP process is essential. This role may be assigned to Pre‑Approved, PO, or Non‑PO processing and is expected to assist with other responsibilities as needed by management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Process manual wire entries with exceptional accuracy and timeliness, adhering to strict deadlines. Assist with daily transfers to the General Ledger (GL) and variance reporting. Prepare and resolve Accounts Payable (AP) control reports promptly, including signature controls, duplicate reviews, aging, recurring payments, prepayments, and invoice hold reports for banking, tolerance, and input holds. Prepare daily assignments and business‑day reports. Perform month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing tasks, including variance analysis, balance‑sheet account reconciliations, accrual reviews, and report generation. Collaborate with Accounts Payable leaders during internal and external audits and retrieve source documents as needed. Proactively communicate, collaborate, and partner with other departments, team members, and external vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues promptly, ensuring follow‑through to payment. Adhere to and promote the company’s values, strategies, policies, and compliance measures. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. 3+ years of preferred Accounts Payable or related Accounting experience. Preferred experience with Oracle; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional business presence.
