Link Building Strategist We're looking for a detail-oriented Link Building Strategist to join our team at Sagashi Labs. This role combines analytical thinking with strategic execution to build high-quality backlink profiles for our clients. You'll be responsible for identifying valuable linking opportunities, creating link strategies, and managing the entire placement process from research to completion. The rate is USD $5-$15/hour depending on experience. This will be a casual, 10 hour a week role with the ability to grow into more. What You’ll Do Research and identify high-quality websites for backlink opportunities across marketplaces, platforms, and brokers Vet prospective links against specific criteria to ensure they meet our quality standards Develop comprehensive link building strategies using keyword research and client requirements Make strategic decisions on target pages and anchor text for optimal SEO impact Execution & Management Place and track link orders through various marketplaces, brokers, and platforms Follow up on placements to ensure quality execution and resolve any issues Maintain accurate records and data in spreadsheets with attention to detail Drive orders to successful completion or identify better alternatives when needed Establish criteria for site selection in outreach campaigns Compile targeted lists of websites for the team’s outreach efforts Collaborate on outreach strategy and execution Communication Keep stakeholders informed with regular progress updates via email Coordinate with team members and clients on campaign status and results What Success Looks Like Good/Baseline Performance: You can take our criteria and consistently find acceptable linking sites with 95%+ agreement rate after initial ramp-up. You’re reliable and execute well on clear direction. Exceptional Performance: You not only select great sites but can also set intelligent criteria independently. You take a brief explanation and run with it, delivering comprehensive link strategies with minimal oversight. You excel at the full cycle: selection, placement, follow-up, and resolution. Outstanding Performance: You completely own outreach campaign development, including list assembly, tool selection, and process optimization. You improve our SOPs, create training materials, and mentor others as we scale. You can craft compelling outreach emails and design entire campaigns from strategy to execution.
