Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Acts as Secretary of the Industrial Relation Committee (IRC); Monitors issuances and receipts of memo and schedule due process conference; Facilitates documentation requirement for IRC meetings.
- Drafts notices and memorandum, for review and signature of HRD Head, pertaining to the following: Policy on Discipline; Policy on Tardiness; Any other violations submitted by: Internal Audit Department (IAD), Risk and Compliance Department (RCD), Incident reports from Group/Department/SBU (GDS) heads.
- Maintains a monitoring file of all the cases and sanctions of employees.
- Coordinates with HRD Head on violations to PGPs, company handbook including recommended plan of action, when applicable.
- Monitors effectiveness and compliance to company policies.
- Communicating policies pertaining to Human resources and Benefits.
- Provides support to IS in terms of counseling employees.
- In charge of periodic DOLE compliance reporting.
- Process Health and safety standard requirements; Preparation of related reports; Statutory requirements; Annual PhysicalExaminations and wellness orientation; Record Keeping.
- Uniform benefit: Prepare summary with comparison of shortlisted providers with the recommendation of Uniform Committee; Prepare masterlist of employees entitled with uniform benefit; Coordinate with GSD for approved uniform design and supplier; Handle uniform benefits of all new regularized employees per Policy on Uniform (PoU).
- Health Benefit: Point person for health benefit dealings and concerns; Prepare masterlist of employees entitled with health benefit for the Health benefit (HB) term; Shortlisting of HMO providers; Negotiate to the best terms and conditions (discounts, benefits, privileges); Prepare recommendation with comparison of shortlisted providers; Facilitate submission of requirements to approved provider and sending of regret letters to other providers; Check billings and prepare corresponding Payment Approval Slip (PAS); Handle health benefits of all new regularized employees per Policy on Health Benefits (PoHB).
- Assist the HRD Head on preparing memorandum, Policies, Guidelines and Procedures (PGPs), Manual Of Operation (MOO), employee handbook, etc.
- Create and maintain updated Job Descriptions for all roles in the company.
- Administers non-financial side of the employee benefits but not limited to HMO, Uniform, Giveaways, general supplies.
- Acts as speaker, facilitator in the conduct of employee orientation on PGPs, programs.
- Conducts study, survey, bench-marking on data requirements.
- Assists in Employee Engagement Activities.
- Provide Assistance in Maintaining employee records, HR files HR office, storage, office bulletin.
- Handles related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
