Healthcare Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our team. The role involves assisting patients with inquiries, resolving billing concerns, and processing self-pay balances while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle patient inquiries, requests, and disputes via phone with professionalism and empathy.
  • Process patient credit card payments and help resolve outstanding balances.
  • Apply working knowledge of healthcare claims processing (ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPC codes, and 1500 forms).
  • Utilize GE Centricity, Epic PB, and other workflow systems to manage patient accounts.
  • Analyze and resolve account issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards for handling PHI.
  • Consistently meet daily productivity and quality standards.
  • Collaborate courteously with patients, co-workers, and management.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completed at least a High School education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of call center experience, preferably in hospital, facility, or physician billing.
  • English-speaking proficiency required; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GE Centricity or Epic PB is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure in handling challenging calls.
  • Must be amenable to work onsite in Pasig.
  • Must be amenable to work night shifts.
