Healthcare Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our team. The role involves assisting patients with inquiries, resolving billing concerns, and processing self-pay balances while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle patient inquiries, requests, and disputes via phone with professionalism and empathy.
- Process patient credit card payments and help resolve outstanding balances.
- Apply working knowledge of healthcare claims processing (ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPC codes, and 1500 forms).
- Utilize GE Centricity, Epic PB, and other workflow systems to manage patient accounts.
- Analyze and resolve account issues accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards for handling PHI.
- Consistently meet daily productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate courteously with patients, co-workers, and management.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completed at least a High School education.
- Minimum of 1 year of call center experience, preferably in hospital, facility, or physician billing.
- English-speaking proficiency required; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Familiarity with GE Centricity or Epic PB is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in handling challenging calls.
- Must be amenable to work onsite in Pasig.
- Must be amenable to work night shifts.
