Senior Accountant

Position: AU/UK Senior Accountant Location: MOA Two Ecom, Pasay, Philippines Work setup & shift: Work From Home | Dayshift Your role: As an AU/UK Senior Accountant, you will: Take ownership of internal and external reporting requirements, including monthly management reports, statutory reports, and vendor-facing financial summaries. Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of AU and UK tax obligations (e.g.BAS, IAS PAYG, Corporation Tax, VAT). Liaise with external stakeholders such as vendors, auditors, and tax authorities to meet compliance and reporting deadlines. Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and templates, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy. Collaborate with the finance team for month‑end and year‑end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals with high attention to detail. Assist in the design, development, and automation of financial models and dashboards. Keep abreast of taxation changes, statutory requirements, and accounting standards in AU and the UK. Contribute to internal audits, compliance checks, and control reviews. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions. Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications and experience: CPA certification is required. A graduate of B.S. Accountancy or any bachelor’s degree in accounting. Proven experience in financial reporting and tax compliance, particularly in the AU and UK contexts. Hands‑on experience using Xero. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets. Comfortable working with SQL for data extraction and analysis. Prior experience in an Australian or UK‑based company is highly preferred.
