Overview

Connext is a dedicated team of business process outsourcing experts and innovators, with experience in supporting world-class companies in Title and Escrow, Healthcare, Produce Distribution, Retail and Fashion, Design Consulting, and Finance.

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Team Lead to lead our general ledger and reporting processes. In this role, you will oversee month-end close, ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain compliance with US GAAP. This position also involves managing an Accounting Analyst, mentoring junior team members, and partnering closely with FP&A to align statutory and management reporting. A successful candidate will bring both public accounting and corporate experience, with a strong focus on process improvement and automation.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and continuously improve month-end and year-end close processes, leveraging automation tools for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain a complete and accurate set of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Translate complex technical accounting concepts into reconciled general ledger entries.
  • Prepare local statutory accounts, support audits, and manage R&D tax credit submissions.
  • Review journal entries for compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Mentor AP and AR staff to improve coding accuracy and accounting knowledge.
  • Manage an Accounting Analyst to support core accounting operations.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to post and track non-GAAP adjustments and prepare bridge reports between management and statutory accounts.
Qualifications
  • CPA required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a stable employment history.
  • Proven leadership or mentoring experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, ideally for software or SaaS companies.
  • Experience in both public accounting and corporate industry roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SaaS or Big 4 public accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with recent US GAAP updates and related process implementations.
Work Schedule

11:00 PM to 8:00 AM PHT, Monday to Friday.
