Overview Sunpride Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Area Promotion and Merchandising Specialist to join our growing team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and brand visibility for our products within a defined geographic area. With a focus on effective in-store promotion and merchandising, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are well-represented and positioned for maximum impact. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic in-store promotional campaigns to drive product visibility and sales Ensure optimal product placement, display, and inventory levels across assigned retail outlets Collaborate with retail partners to secure prime shelf space and secure impactful product placements Collect and analyze market data to identify sales trends and opportunities for growth Provide regular reports on the performance of promotional activities and product performance Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies Effectively communicate with the sales and marketing teams to align on goals and objectives Qualifications Must have Driver's License Graduate of Business courses, Financial, Marketing or any related course Minimum of 1 year experience in a sales, merchandising, or retail marketing role, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry Proven track record of developing and executing successful in-store promotional campaigns Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with retail partners Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of the local retail landscape and customer buying behaviours is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
